The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has issued an important notification regarding changes in the syllabus for the post of Reader (Level-8). Candidates preparing for this examination should take note of the following updates:

Key Changes in the Syllabus

1. “Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, at S.No (ii)”
   • Replaced by: “Bhartiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023”
   • Weightage: 10 Questions
2. “Letters Patent Rules”, at S.No (ii)
   • Replaced by: “Letters Patent Rules (High Court of J&K and Ladakh)”
   • Weightage: 3 Questions

Important Notes

• The above changes will now form part of the previously notified syllabus with the same assigned weightage.
